While the next book is smoothly underway (and making it hard for me to accomplish anything else!), I have another little project that I’m working on to share with my newsletter subscribers. The next book’s publication date seems a long way off, so after doing some thinking, I decided to write a short story! This will give me a chance to share a taste of the Home to Osceola series with my readers even sooner.
The characters in this story appear throughout the upcoming Home to Osceola series, but only as minor characters. I’ve always been fond of them, and I knew they had a story of their own, but there just wasn’t time in the series to dig into it. But now it is in the works! Consider it a bonus scene, a story before the story, if you will.
Here’s the description:
“Sadie Newman has lost patience with waiting for her fiancé to return east for her, so she decides that if he won’t come to her, she will go to him. The only problem is that Ephraim isn’t expecting her–and can’t release the dreams he’s created of what their reunion should look like. Can they work out their difficulties, or will the journey end in heartbreak?”
